The Nintendo DS Lite seems to be on our screens quite a lot laately with advertisement after advertisement and though it's raining here in Wales UK, it is actually summer time. And in summer time folk are more willing to go out with their Nintendo DS Lite. But is it for everyone? What's its pros and cons?

If you own a DS Lite you will probably know all its features and specifications and what you think is good and bad, but for others who are thinking of buying one, you will want to know the pros and cons before hand.

The unique design of the DS Lite is very appealing to the general public and that's a good start together with it's two screens one of which is touch screen. The DS uses cartridges with up to 1 GB of storage capacity allowing lots of storage for the superb games. The battery power is superb and will last you for up to ten hours. The price for the DS Lite at the time of writing is around £ 90 – £ 99 and most people agree that's not a bad price.

Now for the cons. Some folk may find the PSP console better in design than the DS Lite but that is an opinion of course. The cartridges used in the DS Lite are more expensive than discs which are used elsewhere and they do not have the quality edge on graphics.

Although the graphics are not of top quality and the cartridges just a tad expensive, the DS Lite itself is inexpensive with excellent battery power and superb games.

Most gamers prefer the Nintendo DS Lite to the PSP console because as you can see, the pros of the DS Lite definitely outweigh it's cons.
